Music for Food

Music for Food is a dynamic initiative led by musicians aimed at combating hunger in local communities. In collaboration with the world-renowned violinist Ida Bieler, we organized two concerts, partnering with Temple Emanuel Synagogue and the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art. These events featured enthralling performances of compositions by J. Brahms and B. Bartok, brought to life by the Reynolda Quartet and talented students from the UNCSA School of Music.

Establishing this chapter in Winston-Salem stands as one of my most significant achievements in production. It allowed me to make a tangible difference in the local community through the power of music. Our efforts culminated in raising $1,584.75 and collecting 373 pounds of non-perishable food, all of which was generously donated to the Crisis Control Ministry. This project not only showcased the unifying power of music but also highlighted the profound impact it can have in supporting and nourishing our communities.
